American Made & employee owned, can't get much better than that. I like Hypertherm's way of doing business. He said, besides, all the dealer is going to do is call us and parrot back to you. Then told me call back anytime, he understood that sometimes a customer or a prospective customer had questions that typically a dealer would not be able to answer. Answered every question I asked with no BS. I was immediately connected to a young man that seemed extremely knowledgeable about their product. Hello I have a few technical questions about a Hypertherm Powermax 85. After being read to in a childish monotone voice for about 5 minutes I butted in to ask a question, it was at that time I was told I would need to talk to a dealer, which she then gave me Bubba's phone number again. But she was pleasant and did attempt to read the info to me that was on their website. She also never used a plasma cutter, owned a plasma cutter and knew nothing about plasma cutters. Now to be fair after much begging & bitc^ting I once got to talk to an applications "person". Upon calling the dealer(s) in my area that normally served the PetroChem Industry I got the opportunity to speak with Bubba on the will call desk who has never owned a plasma cutter and knew nothing about plasma cutters. I was then promptly referred to a "dealer" in my area. Just about every time I called the "other guys" I could never get past an air-head that answered the phone, asked me a 1/2 dozen questions about who I was, where I lived & the best of all how did you get this number.
